With big business functionality at a small business price, the AML M5900 portable data terminal can help streamline and improve your business operations, while keeping IT costs low - no matter the size of your business.
The M5900 features 32MB RAM/16MB flash ROM memory (with 10MB of user-available non-volatile memory), a rapid 200 MHz ARM9 processor, a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, a backup lithium battery, large graphical backlit LCD display, and and your choice of 55-key alphanumeric or 35-key numeric keypad. It also comes with a SQLite database engine for powerful handling of data files.
Each AML M5900 Series portable data terminal includes all the software development tools required to quickly and efficiently put the M5900 to work in your business. The M5900 terminal is preloaded with six everyday data collection applications that give you the capability to scan bar codes and collect basic data. The M5900 also features an On-board Program Generator (OPG), which allows the creation of very simple applications, right on the device.
Simply select OPG from the Run Program Menu and follow the screen instructions. For custom application development, the AML M5900 PC-based Program Generator is included at no additional cost.
The AML M5900 portable data terminal is available in two configurations – the M5900 General Purpose and the M5900i Industrial. Both models come with your choice of integrated standard laser, long range laser, advanced long range laser, or 2D Imager scan engine.
