Built tough yet optimized for cost-effectiveness, the AML M71V2 wireless terminal is an ideal solution for real-time, information-intensive data capture in retail, distribution, warehousing and manufacturing applications. Featuring the same form, fit and function as the popular AML M7100 wireless terminal, the M71V2 drops easily into existing wireless applications where M7100 terminals are deployed with minimal impact to the end user.
The M71V2 is richly configured with power-packed features to optimize operational efficiency and productivity. Powered by the fast Samsung® S3C2410 ARM9 processor, the M71V2 is equipped with 32MB RAM and 16MB Flash ROM for ample storage capacity. Its internal radio supports IEEE 802.11b WLAN connectivity for real-time, high-rate data transfer between wireless operators and host applications. Extended operation is ensured by the M71V2's enhanced power management, which supports eight-hour work shifts without recharging.
Each AML M71V2 wireless terminal ships fully loaded with VT100/VT220 terminal emulation, TN5250 client, FTP server, HTTP server, TELNET server, Web Browser, WEP and WPA/WPA2 advanced encryption and authentication capabilities. The M71V2's computing flexibility simplifies the application development process, making the terminal quick and easy to implement. The spacious LCD screen accommodates the display of large amounts of information, minimizing the need for screen scrolling.
